Job Summary
How you will make an impact
šDesigning and developing scalable backend services using Ruby on Rails. šOptimizing relational database structures and queries for performance and scalability. šBuilding and maintaining secure, high-performance APIs (RESTful and GraphQL). šContributing to architectural decisions, distributed system design, and microservices strategies. šDeveloping JavaScript-based APIs to facilitate blockchain integrations. šMentoring junior engineers, sharing best practices, and fostering technical growth. šImproving performance, reliability, and security across backend systems. šLeading technical initiatives and working independently to solve complex challenges. šCollaborating with product and engineering leadership to align technical priorities with business goals.
What you will bring to the team
šExtensive experience with Ruby on Rails and building scalable web applications. šDeep understanding of database modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning. šStrong background in distributed systems, microservices, and system architecture. šExperience with background processing systems (Sidekiq, Redis). šFamiliarity with JavaScript and working with third-party libraries. šAbility to lead projects, drive technical strategy, and mentor engineers. šStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams. šStrong bias towards simplicity and maintainability.
