Job Summary
What you’ll be doing
📍As an Operations Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of Fireblock blockchain infrastructure. You’ll own Fireblocks production Blockchains RPC Nodes infrastructure over AWS, implement and build sustainable, scalable, and secure solutions with goals of improving availability and performance. 📍You’ll build strong partnerships with blockchain foundations, vendors, and customers, working together to address challenges, implement solutions, and ensure the smooth and reliable operation of our systems. 📍You’ll dive deep into blockchain protocols, identify optimization opportunities, resolve issues, and improve infrastructure and monitoring. 📍You’ll help identify root causes for incidents and prevent them from happening again. Solve and orchestrate outages by working with multiple teams. You’ll drive operational excellence and enable the seamless integration of new blockchains that contribute directly to Fireblocks ARR growth. 📍This role offers an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the blockchain ecosystem, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and becoming an expert in this rapidly evolving field. Requirements
📍To thrive in this role, you should bring the following qualifications and experience: 📍At least 4+ years of experience as SRE, DevOps, and Infra Backend in a SaaS environment 📍At least 4+ years of experience with Coding languages - Python/JavaScript/Bash, or similar 📍At least 3+ years of experience with Alerting & Monitoring systems such as DataDog Coralogix / Splunk / New Relic / Prometheus 📍At least 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, Github Actions, CircleCI or similar 📍Experience working with Linux systems from kernel to shell and beyond 📍Cloud systems such as AWS / Google Cloud / Azure
