In this role, you will:

📍Define and execute on strategic initiatives for the Billing and Collections team, driving efficiency, accuracy and scalability in our processes through continuous improvement and innovation. 📍Lead and grow a high performing team, including driving organizational design, development tracks, and vendor management. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability and empathy. 📍Build robust system and processes that enable us to scale with our business and customers 📍Leverage data and analytics to identify root causes of issues, uncover opportunities for process improvements, and develop comprehensive action plans to address them. 📍Partner with cross-functional teams across OpenAI to identify challenges and opportunities, drive solutions, and shape the overall experience for OpenAI customers.

You might thrive in this role if you:

📍Have 8+ years of experience in leading Billing, Collections and Operations teams, ideally in tech startups with a mix of B2C and B2B products and strong understanding of Quote to Cash. 📍Possess operational knowledge of ASC 606 📍Demonstrate a proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams, including managing offshore excellence centers. 📍Have experience leading large-scale strategic and operational initiatives, and building strong relationships with cross-functional teams 📍Operate with high horsepower and ownership, showing a proactive approach to picking up new knowledge and tackling tasks to ensure your team’s success. 📍Are comfortable using data-driven insights to design and implement process improvements
