Job Summary
Essential Duties:
šOversee all aspects of Invoicing, AR, Cash Applications and Collections processes. šSupport efforts for the Collections āSurgeā initiative currently underway, to quickly mobilize resources, collect aged balances and identify root cause issues to drive organizational & process change. šLead the team through all aspects of month end close process. šOptimize and enhance workflow to ensure procedures are performed accurately and timely with established SLAās. šCentralize disparate processes with standardized operating policies & procedures. šEvaluate resource structure and establish clear roles & responsibilities by function, with appropriate segregation of duties. šBuild a skilled internal collections team with clearly defined SOPs. šImplement 3rd party collections and write-off policies. šLiaison with the Business Development team to create awareness & partner in the collection of outstanding balances for Enterprise accounts. šEstablish reporting with KPIs to measure and track performance. šProvide weekly updates and monthly Executive reporting to communicate progress. šBuild effective working relationships with senior stakeholders across the company. šSupport M&A efforts and integration of invoicing, cash app & collections functions. šProvide Accounting support as needed.
The Ideal Candidate will possess:
šPreferred 7 years + experience with Order to Cash experience in a payments-related company. šExtensive experience in finance and accounting. šExperience using and configuring Oracle for Accounts Receivable and Collection activities. šAdditional experience using other AR systems such as NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks is highly desired. šAbility to prioritize work and manage projects simultaneously, in addition to monthly/quarterly workload. šFinance, accounting, economics or similar degree; CPA, MBA or CFA a plus. šExcellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. šExcellent leadership qualities, including getting work done through others, being organizationally savvy, thought leadership and influencing skills. šPublic-company experience a plus.
