Job Summary

Robinhood is looking for a Senior Manager of Content Design leading our Activation business division. This role will lead Content Designers across product areas including Growth (referrals/incentives, new account onboarding, in-app discovery, community/social sharing) and the Robinhood Gold membership program. This is a key design leadership role that will help shape the company's engagement strategy for prospective and existing customers.

As a Senior Manager of Content Design, you’ll focus on improving for human, pithy, compelling content and intuitive UX that drives engagement and conversions. You’ll work cross-functionally with other product leaders, regulatory legal and compliance teams, operations, marketing and creative teams to deliver the very best experiences to our customers. You will also have a direct hand in growing the Content Design org at Robinhood.

This role suits those who have a bias toward action and impact, know how to effect organizational change, and who are personally driven by Robinhood’s mission. The ideal candidate is passionate about empowering people to understand public markets and the opportunities for investing.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

Develop and mentor a team of Content Designers Lead weekly content design workshops, and serve as a key collaborator in product team, design leadership, and executive reviews Act as a point of contact for raised regulatory issues Work with other cross-functional leaders to develop business org priorities, project prioritization, and resourcing Work with other CD leaders to make decisions and own key initiatives for the Content Design org About you:

4+ years of people management/leadership experience, both leading others while working closely with other senior partners 8+ years within UX writing or content strategy space Strong design and systems thinker, with a solid portfolio of UX design work Strong understanding of consumer marketing and communications Eagerness to craft product direction from ideation to post-launch Outstanding writing and editing skills, with a track record of pushing your team's work toward the highest quality bar Experience defining, tracking, and reporting on content metrics; experience conducting content and comparative audits Experience managing, crafting, and contributing to editorial guidelines that align with short- and long-term company goals Ability to embody the Robinhood voice and advocate for our customers Ability to translate technical concepts into concise, easy-to-understand language Ability to adapt quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment with shifting constraints Bonus points:

Sense of humor Experience with a financial services/fintech company, or working on financial literacy or investor education teams in the past FINRA Series 7 or 24 This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and participation in Robinhood’s equity plan.

Base pay is determined by market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Please note, some of our roles are open to additional levels which would impact the expected base pay.
