Job Summary
The Opportunity
šAuros is looking for an experienced DevOps engineer who can ramp up quickly into supporting our high-performance infrastructure for trading digital assets. Youāll play a key part in building, deploying and supporting systems that execute millions of trades on CeFi and DeFi venues across the globe. In addition to supporting these trading systems you will implement solutions to interesting security, resilience and operational challenges in this fast-moving environment. šMaintain and improve our global infrastructure with high performance and reliability requirements. šMaintain and improve our blockchain nodes and DeFi related infrastructure. šImprove and update the security infrastructure of a widely distributed company that operates in a high-risk environment. šEngage and collaborate with other teams for system design discussions and improving DevOps processes. šDevelopment of internal tools and automation to accomplish infrastructure team goals. šUnderstand our trading applications well and contribute to application tuning and troubleshooting; you will keep abreast of changes to trading system features and deployment. šProviding guidance to developers looking to improve their application performance or reliability. šWork closely with developers, traders and other staff to accomplish our firmās goals.
Who you are
šOur ideal candidate will have: šWeāre looking for someone who is very familiar with DeFi and cryptocurrencies; at a minimum, this role will require working with RPC nodes and APIs at various levels of development and maturity. A strong interest in cryptocurrency and finance in general is a must. šAn SRE/DevOps professional with 5+ years experience managing Linux systems in a high-performance environment. šCloud management using Terraform, with experience in the AWS environment and ideally Azure. šProficiency in Linux admin and configuration management using Ansible. šA strong background in container management, deployment, and orchestration. šKubernetes experience is good to have, strong basic docker skills are required. šThis is not a network engineer role but a strong familiarity with TCP/IP and host-level networking is expected.
