Job Summary
What you’ll be doing:
📍Be a leading force in developing the visual style and game world of Nyan Heroes by exploring a wide range of ideas. 📍Create high quality 3d modelling ready environment concepts based on briefs from the art director and design department. 📍Create mood paintings, colour and lighting studies to inform and inspire. 📍Provide concepts for props, characters, architecture etc. as needed. Incorporate feedback to iterate on project visual direction. 📍Collaborate with, mentor and guide other artists on the team whilst continuously levelling up your own skills, knowledge and capabilities. 📍Participate in art reviews and provide feedback to both 2D and 3D art teams. 📍Be a strong force in upholding a welcoming, respectful and professional atmosphere for collaboration, communication, and creativity.
About you:
📍Extensive experience creating and delivering high quality environment concept art and illustration work for games. 📍In-depth experience with technology, terminology, and techniques of game art development, including an awareness of design and programming considerations. 📍Experience working in an iterative, agile environment. 📍Portfolio examples that show an understanding of traditional art principles including composition, shape language, colour theory, and visual storytelling as used in environment-focused art. 📍Outstanding creative skills and ability to develop ideas. 📍Can be relied upon to quickly learn new processes and software as needed. 📍Strong communication skills; readily shares knowledge and information with others. 📍Self-directed, enthusiastic, positive, embraces critiques. 📍Understands the audience and appreciates games. 📍Minimum 5+ years experience as a concept artist. 📍AAA Experience preferred. 📍Minimum one published title preferred.
