What you’ll do:

📍Execute communication strategies aligned with Walrus’s business objectives, working closely with the Head of Communications to enhance brand visibility and reputation. 📍Collaborate with ecosystem partners and cross-functional teams to identify and develop compelling stories that resonate with target audiences. 📍Drive execution for strategic initiatives that demonstrate the need for Walrus in the digital marketplace. 📍Endeavor to build the profiles of Walrus spokespersons, including the Managing Executive of the Walrus Foundation, and drive spokesperson preparation in the form of media opportunities, events, and more. 📍Work alongside Partner and Product Marketing to plan and execute Walrus announcements, ensuring messaging consistency, driving media outreach and providing creative, enhanced communications support for new and existing partners, as well as new product launches. 📍Write and edit high-quality content including blog posts, speaking proposals, and communications materials that effectively convey Walrus's technical capabilities to diverse audiences. 📍Support conference and event planning including travel to manage onsite communications. 📍Work with regional teams to adapt communications for different markets. 📍Support crisis communications response as needed.

What you’ll have:

📍4-7 years of communications experience, with at least 2 years in technology or finance 📍Strong writing and editing skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts for general audiences 📍Excellent project management and organizational skills 📍Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally 📍Strong skills in stakeholder management 📍Experience managing media and vendor relationships 📍Experience preparing speaker support materials 📍Track record of successful product or program launches
