Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
📍Underwrite commercial property and casualty business with a focus on profitability and risk management. 📍Build and maintain strong relationships with agents. 📍Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and company policies. 📍Analyze business opportunities, determine appropriate pricing, and assess risk. 📍Contribute to acquiring and retaining profitable commercial lines customers.
Required Qualifications:
📍Bachelor's degree or equivalent (relevant work experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis). 📍At least 4 years of commercial property and casualty underwriting experience. 📍Advanced knowledge of P&C insurance forms and rating rules. 📍Strong understanding of underwriting principles and loss control strategies. 📍Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
