šConduct comprehensive analysis of emerging DeFi protocols and products, focusing on Risk Modeling, Mechanism Design and parameter optimization. šAnalyze financial data to draw out insights specific to protocol requirements, leveraging key metrics for various analyses. šDevelop and deliver professional reports with organized data for clients and the broader community. šWrite formal, rigorous research papers that contribute to the body of knowledge in the DeFi space and support the decision-making process for clients and stakeholders. šEngage with clients during the pre-sale phase to understand their needs and develop strategic research plans. šHost regular progress meetings with clients, providing updates and insights on research developments. šCollaborate with the Chaos Labs product team to recommend data and features for the Chaos Risk Observability and Monitoring portal, enhancing its utility for protocols and communities.
Requirements
šProven experience in economic research, risk analysis, or a related field, with a preference for candidates with DeFi space exposure. šStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid history of conducting data-driven research. šExcellent communication and presentation skills, capable of compiling and presenting research findings and writing formal research papers. šTeam player with the ability to work with clients and internal teams to refine product offerings. šProficient in reading and a strong understanding of smart contract code. šComfortable running and modifying Python scripts, and capable of writing basic Python scripts for data fetching and normalization for research purposes. šKnowledge of DeFi protocols, financial markets, and black-swan events is highly desirable.
