Job Summary

Responsibilities

šŸ“Work closely with the leadership team and external stakeholders to obtain necessary information needed for licensing purposes. šŸ“Ensure that obligations arising from reporting requirements, particularly at state level, are understood, clearly documented & communicated to internal stakeholders to ensure compliance; Liaise with other internal departments including Accounting, Finance, šŸ“Legal, Compliance, Engineering, Data, Marketing, and Support to fulfill regulatory obligations. šŸ“Ensure all company information is up to date internally and externally in a rapidly and consistently evolving company and regulatory environment. šŸ“Ensure all licensing maintenance and renewal procedures are followed on an ongoing basis. šŸ“Track, analyze & report on upcoming regulatory changes applicable to Upholdā€™s business activities. šŸ“Assist in preparations for routine in-depth examinations by regulators. šŸ“Appropriately gather and process extremely sensitive documents and information of the company and key investors, directors and officers. šŸ“Manage multiple competing priorities and numerous ongoing projects simultaneously and on schedule without sacrificing accuracy or attention to detail. šŸ“Other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

šŸ“Bachelorā€™s degree required; must have 2 - 5 years of experience in this role or directly relevant field. šŸ“Experience with state/federal financial regulators required. šŸ“Experience with Money Transmission regulation highly preferred šŸ“Experience with NMLS system highly preferred. šŸ“Experience with cryptocurrency/fintech is desirable but not required. Relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS) a huge plus. šŸ“Must be highly organized, a self-starter, with excellent oral and written communication skills. šŸ“Has a positive outlook on life and projects a happy disposition.
