Job Summary
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
📍Responsible for the development and execution of Coinbase Commerce’s integrated marketing strategy and related developer-focused products and services 📍Be the voice of the customer and trusted advisor as to how current and future clients’ needs inform product messaging, brand differentiation, marketing content, and tactics 📍Craft compelling narratives and messaging that resonate with merchants, developers, and end-users, turning crypto payments into something intuitive and exciting. 📍Develop and lead successful product launches, developer activation/retention programs and marketing/GTM campaigns 📍Develop compelling marketing collateral including event presentations, one-pagers, case studies, webinars, and websites 📍Build and manage activations and partnerships that drive adoption and awareness of our product 📍Work cross-functionally with product, business development, design, engineering, communications, and customer support to help build our customer pipeline and achieve world-class developer acquisition and retention rates 📍Measure and report against the performance of product marketing initiatives 📍Think big about the future of onchain payments and how we can bring merchants and developers onchain more quickly 📍Work with product to drive rapid experimentation across channels to identify and double down on what works.
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
📍2+ years of experience in product marketing for at a payments, stablecoin, or fintech company, as well as experience within the onchain ecosystem 📍A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, and has an entrepreneurial mindset 📍A proven ability to execute relentlessly, moving quickly from strategy to action and delivering high-impact results 📍A strong understanding of and passion for blockchain technology 📍Able to speak the language of a wide range of personas, from end users to onchain developers and enterprises 📍Powerful storyteller: written, verbal, and visual 📍Demonstrated track record of creating campaigns to drive new customer acquisition, build community, deepen engagement & retention 📍Advanced quantitative and deductive skills. Ability to run experiments, distinguish between the signal and the noise and make data-guided actions 📍Outstanding project management skills 📍Ability to come up to speed on technical topics quickly 📍Ability to form strong relationships with a product team and cross-functional partners
