Job Summary
Responsibilities:
📍Market Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of market trends and competitive pricing to inform strategic decisions. 📍Rate Negotiation: Negotiate rates with carriers to secure the best possible terms for our services. 📍Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and refine pricing structures that are both competitive and profitable. 📍Compliance Management: Ensure all pricing strategies and activities comply with FMC regulations. 📍Operational Collaboration: Work alongside the operations team to identify needs for network improvements or system designs that enhance profitability. 📍Sales Support: Provide the sales team with business intelligence reports, focusing on niche markets and emerging trends. 📍Performance Monitoring: Track turnover and respond swiftly to market changes, ensuring deadlines are met and previous strategies are adjusted as necessary.
Requirements/Qualifications:
📍HS diploma with desired experience or bachelor’s degree in a related major. 📍2+ years of experience in international sea freight (FCL and LCL) pricing 📍Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex market data. 📍Proven experience in rate negotiation and pricing strategy development. 📍Familiarity with FMC regulations and compliance requirements. 📍Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across various teams. 📍Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. 📍Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
