Job Summary
Responsibilities:
šMarket Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of market trends and competitive pricing to inform strategic decisions. šRate Negotiation: Negotiate rates with carriers to secure the best possible terms for our services. šPricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and refine pricing structures that are both competitive and profitable. šCompliance Management: Ensure all pricing strategies and activities comply with FMC regulations. šOperational Collaboration: Work alongside the operations team to identify needs for network improvements or system designs that enhance profitability. šSales Support: Provide the sales team with business intelligence reports, focusing on niche markets and emerging trends. šPerformance Monitoring: Track turnover and respond swiftly to market changes, ensuring deadlines are met and previous strategies are adjusted as necessary.
Requirements/Qualifications:
šHS diploma with desired experience or bachelorās degree in a related major. š2+ years of experience in international sea freight (FCL and LCL) pricing šStrong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex market data. šProven experience in rate negotiation and pricing strategy development. šFamiliarity with FMC regulations and compliance requirements. šExcellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across various teams. šAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. šStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.
