Job Summary
What you will be doing (i.e. job duties).
šMonitor and analyze state legislation impacting Coinbase. šWork cross functionally with policy/regulatory/communications/product teams to determine impacts of state legislation and develop and communicate internal/external response. šDesign and implement public policy initiatives and engagement strategies with state legislators. šBuild and nurture relationships with legislators and key stakeholders like trade associations, peers at similar companies, non-profits, etc. šDevelop relevant materials for engagement with state officials - often for senior Coinbase employees. šManage output of Coinbaseās contract lobbyists. šRepresent Coinbase at state conferences across the country.
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
šBachelorās or non-US equivalent required. š5+ years of experience in government, government relations, or other advocacy/engagement roles at the state level. šPrevious working experience leading a portfolio of policy issues and coordinating policy-focused events. šFamiliarity with crypto policy issues. šWhile this is a remote role, travel is an essential function of the job, š50%+ of your time may require travel to various parts of the country. šYou must be a strong self-starter and problem solver. This position will require you to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Being able to execute with little oversight will be paramount to success.
