Job Summary
WHAT YOU WILL DO: Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems, with a focus on prototyping and 3D printing.
šUtilize 3D printing technologies to create prototypes and production parts, optimizing designs for manufacturability and performance. šDevelop and analyze hydraulic systems, including designing hydraulic circuits and components. šConduct materials testing to evaluate the performance, durability, and reliability of materials used in mechanical systems. šAnalyze and design thermal systems to manage heat dissipation and thermal performance in mechanical components. šCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with other engineering disciplines and ensure project success. šDevelop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals. šOversee and participate in hands-on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of prototypes and systems.
Minimum Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
šBachelorās degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. šSkilled in using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) or other 3D engineering tools. šProven experience in prototyping, including hands-on work with 3D printing technologies. šExcellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. šKnowledge of hydraulic systems, including design and analysis. šKnowledge of thermal systems design and analysis. šExperience with materials testing and evaluation, with the ability to interpret test results and apply findings to design improvements. šStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. šAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
