Job Summary

What You’ll Be Doing

📍Provide legal advice and support to the internal stakeholders in handling all personnel, administrative related matters whether contentious and non-contentious 📍Provide legal advice on various employment and engagement models, including on-site, remote and hybrid working models, relocation and internal transfer matters 📍Manage employment and labour matters, disputes and litigation cases 📍Advise on the investigation and management of employee misconduct cases 📍Draft, maintain, review and negotiate a wide range of employment documents, including employment contracts, restrictive covenant agreements, separation agreements, employment and staff related policies, procedures and handbooks, long term incentive program, share option scheme and plan, code of conduct, among other things 📍Liaise and manage external counsel whenever required 📍Monitor and advise on legal and compliance developments and their impact on the business 📍Conduct training and provide day-to-day coaching 📍Review, draft and revise a broad range of commercial agreements 📍Provide general support to the legal and compliance department

What We Look For In You

📍Law degree holder (LLB/ J.D.) qualified in Hong Kong, the UK or the US 📍Qualified lawyer with 5-10 years PQE with extensive experience in employment law at a reputable global law firm and/or large multinational organisation including contentious and non-contentious experience 📍Experience with APAC employment law 📍Interest in digital assets, Web3, blockchain and related legal and regulatory matters 📍Commitment to ensuring the team succeeds with all tasks, duties and projects and willingness to help a team member in need 📍Sound judgment on business practices, internal and external stakeholder relationship management and reputational risk 📍Proficiency in spoken and written English, able to read and write Chinese, working-level Mandarin is an advantage 📍Well-organized, detail-oriented, presentable and with excellent drafting and communication skills (both verbally and in writing) 📍Ability to approach situations and challenges with a sense of humour
