What we would expect from you: šŸ“Contract Management: Collaborating with our business units to create, assess, negotiate, and archive commercial agreements and other legal documents with external parties such as vendors, clients, and partners. šŸ“Assistance in License Acquisition: Providing support alongside external consultants in obtaining new licenses required for operations. šŸ“Legal Compliance: Keeping up to date of international regulations to ensure company adherence to legal mandates. šŸ“Risk Assessment: Offering daily legal insights and guidance, pinpointing legal risks, and suggesting strategies to mitigate them. This includes devising and executing processes, policies, and protocols. šŸ“Dispute Resolution: Contributing to the resolution of legal disputes, potentially engaging external legal counsel as needed. šŸ“Research and Analysis: Carrying out legal research on various topics, including emerging legal matters in the fintech sector, and delivering advisory to the Legal team and senior leadership. šŸ“Business Collaboration: Working closely with product and business teams to advance company initiatives and objectives. Managing legal inquiries from all sectors of the company and offering sound legal advice aligned with business objectives.

What we look for in you:

šŸ“Proven experience of minimum 3 years as a legal counsel; šŸ“Law degree and qualified to practice law in the U.K. šŸ“Some demonstrated relevant legal experience, ideally in fintech, financial services, or a related industry or a strong desire to gain experience in the industry. šŸ“Strong understanding of UK law and other jurisdiction financial regulations . šŸ“Proven ability to understand legal and regulatory concepts and convert them into relevant, practical, local business requirements; šŸ“Preferred track record of going through licenses process šŸ“Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. šŸ“Strong communication and interpersonal skills. šŸ“Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently. šŸ“Proactive attitude and ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment. šŸ“High level of integrity and ethics. šŸ“Entrepreneurial mindset. Autonomous, adaptive, ability to think outside of the box, creative; šŸ“Great writing and communication skills in English, with proven verbal and written fluency;
