Job Summary
How you will make an impact
šLeading initiatives end-to-end through technical design, implementation, and testing šContributing code as a Lead-level IC, demonstrating best practices, and setting standards for the rest of the team šWorking closely with Product managers to clarify requirements, communicate design solutions, and set expectations šWorking closely with our Security team to deliver the most secure software solutions we can šCollaborating with cross-functional team members on all aspects of product development šLeading and refining the teamās software development processes Designing and building both REST and GraphQL APIs that are scalable, secure, and easy to use šBringing new ideas to the team, helping shape direction, and elevating team culture through knowledge sharing and mentorship
What you bring to the team
šStrong Ruby on Rails background and a track record of successful Rails projects šSolid AWS infrastructure experience (ECS, RDS, etc.) šIn-depth understanding of systems design and multi-service architecture šFamiliarity with JavaScript for integration and scripting šFamiliarity with data storage solutions (SQL/Redis/Data warehousing) šExperience with observability and monitoring practices (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, etc.) šAbility to own complete features and systems end-to-end ā conception, breakdown, implementation, deployment šStrong communication and problem-solving skills šA collaborative mindset, humility, and a desire to contribute to team success over individual recognition šPassion for learning new technologies quickly and a strong bias toward simplicity and maintainability šBonus: experience with smart contract development and DeFi protocols
