Job Summary
GnosisDAO builds decentralized infrastructure for the Ethereum ecosystem. Gnosis developed a wide range of products, including Gnosis Safe (multisig and programmable account), Gnosis Protocol (CowSwap), Conditional Tokens (prediction markets), Gnosis Auction, and Zodiac (standard and tooling for composable DAOs), Circles UBI (blockchain-based unconditional basic income) and Gnosis Chain. Gnosis Chain is the product of the merger of Gnosis and xDai. As one of Ethereum’s earliest sidechains with the largest validator aside from Ethereum itself, Gnosis Chain has quiet but significant real-world usage and has embarked on an aggressive technical roadmap to accelerate Ethereum. Gnosis Chain is also where Ethereum’s colorful and quirky spirit lives on, as the original home that incubated many defining projects like POAP, Burner Wallet, Dark Forest, and Perpetual Protocol.
This year, Gnosis team is ramping up for a new stage of growth—bringing decentralization and self-custody to a wide audience of crypto natives and non-technical users via Gnosis Pay (watch the announcement at EthCC).
About the role:
We are looking for an HR & Operations Assistant to join our HR and Operations team in Berlin. If you are someone who is passionate about people management practices and enjoys working in an international and fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you! You'll be working with us in the trendy kiez of Kreuzberg - where we run our beautiful coworking space for blockchain projects, Full Node.
What you’ll do:
Management of employees’ time tracking Ensure the accurate maintenance of our HR system, Personio, and team’s calendar Manage the company’s perks and support with HR policies Manage HR documentation, such as preparing employment contracts, job references, general certification, kindergarten allowances, parental leave, and the maintenance of digital personnel files. Communicate with external partners such as governmental agencies, health insurance providers, and immigration services Be the point of contact for the employees Organize internal events such as team dinners and retreats Support with onboarding and offboarding Support the recruiting process whenever necessary Collaborate and support the Office Manager and Front Desk team whenever needed
Who you are
You just finished university or have one year of experience in the HR field You have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organization Development or a related field You have excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills You are fluent in German and English (written and oral) You can multitask and oversee the execution of multiple projects simultaneously You have excellent organizational and planning skills Plus: You have knowledge of German employment and labor law
