Key responsibilities

📍Provide comprehensive oversight of the company's financial operations and strategy 📍Ensure accurate and timely financial accounting and reporting in compliance with regulatory standards 📍Develop and manage the company's financial policies, procedures, and controls 📍Oversee capital management, including capital increases and financial planning 📍Lead the preparation of regulatory reports and liaise with regulatory bodies 📍Analyse financial performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategic initiatives 📍Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiency and support business objectives 📍Advise senior management on specific finance and accounting-related questions 📍Manage loss event reporting, incident reporting, and conduct investigations of root causes 📍Possess leadership presence to promote risk culture, and train and motivate staff to adopt new practices

Requirements

📍Master’s degree in finance or economics 📍4+ years proven experience in a finance role, preferably within the banking, trading, or cryptocurrency industry or at a leading global accounting firm, such as one of the Big Four 📍Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting standards 📍Demonstrated ability to manage capital, financial planning, and budgeting processes 📍Strong problem-solving mindset, creative in finding solutions, structured in implementation 📍A dynamic person with an innovative spirit, a positive attitude, and strong motivational skills 📍Self-driven, results-oriented, and hands-on, with an attention to detail 📍Fluency in English, German is a plus 📍A professional accounting qualification and/or previous experience in the crypto industry is a plus
