Job Summary
RESPONSIBILITIES:
šDeliver actionable insights through data analysis and synthesize results in succinct presentations to aid senior management in decision making šDevelop and maintain authoritative data sources to inform pricing, market size estimates, etc. šDive deep into complex customer aviation markets to identify trends, insights and opportunities for SpaceX to pursue šCreate and quantitatively substantiate pricing models for SpaceX products šSupport development of complex proposals including pricing, strategy, and win themes šOwn delivery of the cost and pricing volumes for competitive bids šActively collaborate with engineering, customer ops, finance, and other internal business units to drive sales results and efficiency šReconcile divergent demands of multiple stakeholders in a fast work environment
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
šBachelorās degree š5+ years of experience with data driven decision making, strategy, data analysis, and/or forecasting š2+ years of experience in business development, US Government acquisition, and/or finance
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
šBachelorās degree in a technical discipline šMasterās degree in a technical discipline or an MBA šDirect experience with government aviation markets and/or aviation communication systems šDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, preferably in a team environment šClear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills šAbility to assess market trends that indicate business opportunities several years in the future šAbility to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization šStrong background in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint šExperience as a management consultant at one of the top-tier consulting firms šWorking knowledge of both commercial and government space launch and satellite markets šWorking knowledge of the DoD acquisition process
