Job Summary

A day in the life

📍Review escalations coming from the Social Media Team, Customer Support, or other internal teams regarding Fraud related friction points that are creating issues for Uphold customers 📍Review transactions for fraudulent activity and compromised accounts 📍Research credit/debit card disputes and build a case with the correct documentation to supply to issuing financial institutions 📍Monitor, investigate and respond to internal fraud reports tracking card and bank account fraud claims 📍Provide guidance to internal and external teams on any Fraud matters 📍Communicate with Customers through email, phone and video to ensure the safety and security of the Uphold account and their funds

Qualifications

📍Analytical with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills 📍Passion for fighting fraud and providing a world-class customer experience 📍Some experience in fraud prevention 📍Team player and self-starter, with a general happy disposition 📍Ability to prioritize multiple inputs by customer experience and financial impacts 📍Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to interface effectively with customers and individuals at various levels 📍Works well under pressure while consistently meeting time-sensitive deadlines 📍Skilled at performing complicated tasks through planning and setting goals that utilize extensive experience, judgment, and research 📍Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) or Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs, etc.) software
