Job Summary
What you will do
📍Budgeting. We need you to help with the budget inputs across our teams and keep an eye on spending as well. You will own the cash flow, set up processes and cost centers. 📍Controlling and Management of external accounting and tax services. You will be helping and communicating with our external accountants, answering their questions, resolving any issues that might arise. You will also be the helping our colleagues and their questions and inquiries in this area as well. Your role is to stay on top of the day-to-day financial operations. 📍Advisory. Our colleagues sometimes need help with tax and accounting topics and your role will be to sit down with them and be able to explain for example the difference between a s.r.o. and self-employment and answer questions about legislation. 📍Legislation monitoring. We need you to stay on top of changes in Czech and Slovak laws and regulations, work with other teams like Operations and Legal on updating our documentation and policies to make sure we are compliant. 📍Ad hoc tasks, such as communication with the banks, arranging a new debit/credit card, managing our cash etc.
What you need to succeed
📍Previous experience with finance or controlling. 2 years of part-time during school or 1 year full-time. 📍Ideally university degree in finance/accounting. 📍Communication skills - you will sometimes have to push your ideas through management, lots of people will be coming to you for advice, you need to handle the communication with external partners so yes, your ability to clearly articulate your ideas and active listening is crucial. Therefore excellent communication skills are required. 📍Creative thinking - as a company is growing, the processes of doing things in the company can be adjusted, mainly in the way of automation. 📍English language. Our official company language is English so we expect you to be comfortable with written and verbal communication.
