The Uniswap Labs team was a major contributor to the Uniswap Protocol and now focuses on building a suite of products to support the Uniswap ecosystem. Our team is one of the most impactful in crypto. We are based out of SoHo in New York City with the option to be partially or fully remote depending on the position.

Key Responsibilities
šLeadership and Management: šLead and mentor a team of security engineers and site reliability engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. šDevelop and execute strategies for improving security and reliability across all systems and services. šSet clear goals and performance metrics for the team, conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback. Security Engineering: šOversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of security measures across the organizationās infrastructure and applications. šEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. šConduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and threat modeling to identify and mitigate risks. šDevelop and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices. šSite Reliability Engineering: šManage the reliability, availability, and performance of the companyās services and infrastructure. šImplement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes. šOptimize system performance and automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency. šDrive continuous improvement in operational processes and engineering practices to enhance system reliability. šCollaboration and Communication: šCollaborate with other engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure security and reliability requirements are integrated into all stages of the development lifecycle. šCommunicate effectively with senior management and other departments, providing regular updates on security and reliability initiatives and performance. šAdvocate for security and reliability best practices throughout the organization.
Qualifications
šBachelorās or Masterās degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. š7+ years of experience in security engineering and/or site reliability engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role. šStrong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies, including encryption, authentication, access control, and šProven experience with reliability engineering practices such as monitoring, alerting, incident response, and performance tuning. šProficiency in scripting and automation tools, such as Python, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform. šExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker). šExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
