Responsibilities

📍Lead and Mentor: Manage and grow a high-performing, cross-functional engineering team (iOS, Android, Backend, QA), fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. 📍Technical Strategy & Execution: Partner with the Product Manager to define the product roadmap and technical strategy. Drive the end-to-end delivery of new features and products, from conception and design to development, deployment, and maintenance. 📍Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as the primary engineering voice, collaborating closely with product, design, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution. 📍Fill the Gaps: Proactively identify and address technical, process, or resource gaps within the engineering team to ensure smooth and efficient development cycles. 📍Architectural Oversight: Guide the team in making sound architectural decisions for scalable, secure, and reliable systems that support our global retail trading platform. 📍Operational Excellence: Champion best practices for software development, including agile methodologies, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD, to ensure high-quality and timely delivery. 📍Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate project status, risks, and technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 📍Innovation and Growth: Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, empowering the team to experiment with new technologies and approaches to solve complex problems.

Requirements

📍Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and mentoring software engineering teams, preferably in a cross-functional environment including mobile (iOS/Android) and backend engineers. 📍Strong Technical Acumen: A strong background in software development with the ability to contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions. While hands-on coding isn't the primary focus, familiarity with technologies like Golang, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Redis, and Kafka is highly preferred. 📍Mobile Expertise: Experience with native mobile development (iOS, Android) and/or cross-platform frameworks like React Native is a huge plus.
