Job Summary
What you will be responsible for:
📍Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models for energy cost analysis, hedging strategies, and complex transactions (acquisitions, leases, joint ventures). Perform sensitivity analyses, provide scenario-based insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 📍Energy Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of power market trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory changes. Monitor factors influencing electricity prices, including supply/demand, weather, and grid dynamics. Utilize climate modeling and AI for forecasting. 📍Regulatory Monitoring: Stay informed about regulatory developments, analyze market design impacts, and maintain expertise in energy regulatory stakeholders and policy. 📍Strategic Support: Provide analytical support for energy management strategies, monitor grid growth and renewable integration, and support the transition to energy production. 📍Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with operations, finance, and legal teams. Communicate effectively across diverse cultures. 📍Global Market Awareness: Understand regional market challenges and the impact of global events on energy markets.
