Job Summary
What You'll Do:
šMember of legal leadership, helping to build and support the strategy for the legal team in collaboration with other legal leads. šLead and help develop our Privacy Legal team, responsible for privacy, security and AI related legal guidance, in partnership with other legal teams. šResponsible for compliance efforts with globally privacy and data protection regulations around the world, through the development and maintenance of a global privacy program, including training, auditing, reporting, and more. šEstablish and maintain relationships with regulatory, governmental, industry, and peer groups on privacy and data security issues. šOversee Privacy related regulatory investigations response work, in partnership with the Market Operations Legal and Regulatory and Litigation teams. šWork closely with legal subject matter experts to ensure privacy regulatory compliance. šAct as legal POC for the Information Security team, including on incident response matters. šHelp scale the legal organization by developing innovative processes in partnership with other legal teams to support privacy initiatives in a fast-moving Engineering, Product, and Design teams. šStay abreast of emerging legal trends and best practices in the tech industry, and provide thought leadership within the legal team and the company. šBe a collaborative team player with a positive attitude. šBe willing and able to roll up your sleeves and jump right in to support the team. šInspire and energize the Privacy team, empowering each teammate to do the best work of their lives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
šDeep experience in privacy, security and AI laws. šVery strong understanding of GDPR, LGPD, APAC privacy laws, and other global privacy laws. šExperience building privacy programs from the ground up. šFirst hand experience of privacy regulatory investigations, incident response management, breach reporting, and the practical realities of managing a global privacy program.
