Job Summary

How you can make an impact:

šŸ“Leading expert in Aaveā€™s DeFi product suite including both Aave Protocol and GHO. šŸ“Developing and executing a comprehensive business development plan focused on total value locked (ā€TVLā€) growth. Collaborations with prominent DeFi projects, Real-World Asset (ā€RWAā€) initiatives, centralized exchanges, stablecoin projects, and blockchain protocols šŸ“Assessing market trends, and understanding competitor dynamics. Structuring and negotiating commercial deals that align with the protocol's goals and maximize TVL growth. šŸ“Actively monitor DAO governance forums, discussions, and proposals. Work collaboratively with DAO members around initiatives that align with the DAO's long-term goals and contribute to TVL growth. šŸ“Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the DeFi ecosystem. šŸ“Work closely with cross-functional team leads, including product, engineering, and marketing, to introduce new offerings to the market. šŸ“Represent Aave Labs at key industry events and conferences, enhancing its presence in the blockchain ecosystem. Serve as a PR representative and spokesperson for Aave in the region with institutional partners.

šŸ“7-10+ years of business development experience within the financial services industry or a related industry. Corporate development experience a plus. šŸ“Proven expertise in forming strategic partnerships and managing complex projects. Experienced in creating and negotiating commercial agreements beyond standard sales contracts, collaborating with technical teams, lawyers, and marketers. šŸ“Strong passion for crypto and decentralization, with a solid understanding of crypto native products (staking, DeFi, etc.). šŸ“Deep familiarity with blockchain technology, Institutional DeFi, and the regulatory landscape of digital assets preferred.
