Job Summary
Main Duties and Responsibilities
šFacilitate and contribute to productive brainstorms with Art Director, Creative Director.
šSupports concepts with clear rationale and maintains ownership of work from ideation to launch
šCollaborates with the team to construct innovative ideas for clients, and brings them to life in a way that helps clients to envision them in actuality
šPresents new ideas, and ongoing work to clients in a confident, concise and thorough manner
šProactively seizes opportunity to create timely content against viral trends, and larger cultural moments
šThrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload
šContinually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action
šComfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the industry, company, or target audience at hand
šMaintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and client-related industry trends
šInterpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands
šResearch and understand the client's needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings
šWrite original copy and edit content for a range of corporate marketing and communications materials
šCollaborate with a team of account managers and creative staff from concept development to delivery of final product
šPresent copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team, and to client representative as needed, and participate in client pitches on occasion
šRevise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction
šCollaborates with various members of the team to deliver a range of superior creative executions
Knowledge and Skills Required
š4+ years' experience within an agency environment as a copywriter or content writer šMust have a solid understanding and desire to keep up to date with innovation, industry, and design trends šStrong verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas and direction šA wide understanding of culture as it pertains to social strategy and execution šAbility to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines šExcellent organizational skill and multitasking ability šConfidence in presenting to colleagues and clients šKnowledgeable across all social platforms while expanding skills to fit an ever-changing landscape šExperience in strategic idea generation, and execution of those ideas on behalf of clients šProofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides a plus
