Duties and Responsibilities:

📍Coordinate with Global Legal and Compliance teams to ensure B2C2’s global compliance programmes high standard and the achievement of the highest level of ethical and professional expectations in line with B2C2’s core values. 📍Regulatory change / projects - identify and deploy regulatory inventory / change tracking system to systematically identify current obligations and prepare for regulatory changes. Once identified, work with other functions in the business and/or support / control areas to ensure projects are established and then successfully completed to ensure B2C2 is and remains compliant with its obligations. 📍Business advisory and projects: review / approval of new business proposals, sales and marketing materials, etc. - using regulatory knowledge, business familiarity and risk awareness to ensure both a compliant but also commercial approach is taken with respect to regulatory adherence. Work closely with internal stakeholders (business and corporate functions including Client Onboarding/KYC, Operations, Risk, Sales, Trading, Finance, IT, etc.) on compliance issues.

Required Skills and experience:

📍achelor’s (BA/BS) degree required. 📍Minimum 7+ years’ experience in relevant experience in a UK based regulatory compliance/legal role (compatibility with a fintech or cryptoasset trading firm is a plus). 📍Demonstrated Knowledge of FCA requirements, laws and regulations. 📍Knowledge of crypto products and/or wholesale ‘tradfi’ markets. 📍Knowledge/fluency in cryptocurrency and blockchain industry concepts is a plus. 📍Experience building and developing compliance programs and policies in a fast-moving growth company environment.
