Job Summary
Partnership & Relationship Management
šBuild and maintain strong relationships with all banks and payment partners across Canada, USA and Latin America. šServe as the primary point of contact for banking and payment partners, fostering collaboration and managing any issues that may arise. šContribute to shaping and executing on Krakenās banking & payments strategy and identify high-impact opportunities. šWork extensively with internal and external stakeholders to drive execution and continuous progress of all key projects and company wide initiatives. šBuild an extensive banking & payments network and maintain meaningful relationships to stay on top of key trends and industry developments. šProficiently communicate the value of working with Kraken to potential partners
Skills you should HODL:
š5+ years of experience in banking, payments, transaction banking or financial services, with a focus on partnerships, relationship and account management in a hyper growth technology company šProven track record of closing multiple high value partnership deals from origination through integration šPrior experience working with North & South American banks and payment partners. šPassion for, and knowledge of cryptocurrency markets and the unique challenges associated with banking services in the cryptocurrency environment šCapable builder of financial models, revenue projections, and business plans šAbility to travel regularly to meet banking and payments partners - at least 25% travel required šIn-depth understanding of Canadian, US & LATAM cryptocurrency, banking, FX, and payments regulations, payment systems/rails, and financial compliance. Experience with BSA/AML/KYC and risk controls
