Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and research-driven freelance Artist Researcher to support our team in gathering insights on available and sold artworks by contemporary artists. This includes researching across online auction platforms and art marketplaces, and collecting structured data points (e.g., edition size, pricing history, medium, etc.) to compile them into clean spreadsheets. This research forms an important data point for scoping upcoming projects and collaborations, so attention to detail is key. You should have strong online research skills, a good sense for detail, and ideally some familiarity with the contemporary art market. Backgrounds in art history or art business are welcome but not required.
đź“ŤThis is a fully remote freelance role, ideal for someone who can commit time on a weekly basis to support our team. Hours will vary based on business needs to a maximum of 6 hours per week. Scheduling will be coordinated in advance with our Business Operations team and can be flexibly arranged around your existing commitments.
