Job Summary

What You'll Do

šŸ“Work closely with the different Digital teams to gather both technical and business requirements and identify testing opportunities and recommendations šŸ“Work as a member of the Digital scrum team in planning, estimating, and verifying user stories and acceptance criteria šŸ“Design, create, update, review, maintain and execute well-structured test cases/suites for various applications and APIā€™s as well as document and track any bugs or production issues šŸ“Assist in research and study new and evolving technologies, standards and processes as it relates to Software Quality Assurance šŸ“Identify toolsets and other testing needs including any recommendations as needed šŸ“Assist in troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis on production issues šŸ“Participate in product and infrastructure discovery, design and review sessions šŸ“Collaborate with business units to provide better understanding on how to improve workflow and increase process efficiency by streamlining testing activities and tasks

Education & Experience

šŸ“Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field is mandatory. ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent certification(s) are desirable. šŸ“5+ years of experience in: Creating and implementing test plans/strategies; developing and executing test scripts; managing defects/bugs using standard test management toolset (e.g., TestRail, TestNG, Rational Quality Manager, HP Quality Center, Azure). šŸ“Programming Skills: Background in one or more functional programming languages (e.g., Ruby, Python, Java, JavaScript, .Net, C#) is desired. šŸ“API Testing: Proficiency in REST API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, and SoapUI. Experience in designing and building API and Data-driven testing frameworks is an advantage. šŸ“Cloud Experience: Practical experience with Azure and Azure DevOps is a definite advantage. šŸ“Database Knowledge: Understanding and experience with SQL databases is desirable. šŸ“Data Testing: experience in data testing, with expertise in Azure Data šŸ“Factories and Azure Databricks being a significant bonus.
