What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

📍Lead cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale, global projects ensuring that all KYC Program objectives are met on time and within scope. 📍Be the ‘voice of our customer’ in the room, to build AML controls to stop bad actors whilst ensuring all other customers are provided a great and frustration free experience. 📍Work across Technology, Operations, Compliance and Product teams to continually refine and improve KYC processes, ensuring they remain compliant with regulatory requirements whilst ensuring a best in class customer experience. 📍Ensure requirements for new KYC programs across new businesses or products are launched on time and satisfy compliance and business requirements. 📍Develop and maintain a detailed Program plan, setting milestones, managing resources, and identifying key deliverables to ensure successful outcomes. 📍Engage with key stakeholders (legal, risk, compliance, operations) to ensure ongoing communication and alignment of goals. 📍Establish robust mechanisms and feedback loops to gather customer feedback on KYC processes, to improve upstream Compliance and Product controls. 📍Lead regular meetings across stakeholder teams to provide updates on the KYC Program’s progress and address key regulatory risks or customer feedback concerns. 📍Lead the development of dashboards and KPIs to monitor the success of the compliance Program and track adherence to global regulatory requirements. 📍Utilize an in-depth understanding of metrics, reporting, capacity planning and financials to make informed data-driven decisions.

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

📍Motivated by Coinbase’s mission 📍Minimum of 5 years of proven KYC/AML experience in financial services or technology organizations. 📍Minimum of 5 years of program management experience across global and cross functional teams. 📍Working knowledge of laws, regulations, and risk management practices for financial services. 📍Hands-on involvement in defining metrics that tie back to how we measure success. 📍Proficient in PowerPoint/Google Slides and Excel/Google Sheets. 📍A BA/BS degree in business, finance, and other related fields.
